Dina Maccabee
We grow up and down

How do you practice practicing?
I learned how to practice the precise skills for playing violin a long time ago: consistency, careful listening, and a lot of repetition.
But to achieve success as a musician, I was missing a crucial second skill: Setting clear goals and learning about myself with curiosity and patience in the process of achieving them.
Now, I practice a third skill: helping others define how to grow their own music practice, goals and career organically and effectively. If you are a musician looking for structure, stability and balance while staying true to your creative identity, I can help.
After a free initial meeting to get to know each other, the coaching program I offer follows three steps:
1: Goal Setting: Over several sessions, we'll map out your current situation, discern what's missing, and set a clear goal.
2. Reflection and Reframing: We'll find out what really matters to you and where you truly shine, while identifying any limiting beliefs that are keeping you stuck.
3. Implementing Your Plan: We'll identify clear, doable steps to take you toward your goal, with weekly accountability and feedback on tasks.
My teaching and coaching methods, whether in private lessons or group sessions, help you discover the best practices to take you to your goals, whether you want to play, compose, develop a broader creative concept, or define your music career path.
